  • Admitted to practice in Australia.
  • 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in a reputable law firm.
  • Understanding of corporate law, governance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong research, drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Resourceful, with a ‘can-do’ attitude and open to new challenges.
  • Proven track record of being able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (strong Excel skills will be an advantage).
Responsibilities
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and provide advice on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, ASX listing rules and internal policies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of contract management processes and strategies.
  • Support M&A transactions, including due diligence and liaising with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
  • Support dispute resolution and litigation matters as required from time to time.
  • Support the Company Secretary in ensuring compliance with corporate governance requirements.
  • Assist in preparing board and committee meeting agendas, minutes and resolutions.
  • Maintain statutory registers and corporate records.
  • Assist with ASX, ASIC and other regulatory filings.
  • Assist with shareholder communications and annual general meetings.
  • Support the Company Secretary in managing and administering the company’s employee share plan.
  • Support the company’s ESG reporting and initiatives.
