We are searching for… A highly motivated licensed attorney to join our legal team as Legal Counsel to support our General Counsel in managing the legal affairs of a dynamic technology company by providing strategic legal advice and ensuring compliance with federal and state laws. What you will do… * Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including SaaS agreements, software licenses, service agreements, nondisclosure agreements, vendor agreements, and employment contracts. * Ensure contracts are compliant with applicable laws and regulations, align with company polies, and mitigate risk. * Support the General Counsel on advising internal stakeholders on the legal aspects of SaaS transactions and technology-related contracts. * Advise on employment law matters, including employee relations, workplace policies, and terminations to comply with labor laws. * Monitor changes in legislation and regulations that may impact company operations and advise on necessary adjustments. * Contribute to the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures related to contract management, regulatory compliance, and employment law, providing day-to-day legal advice to various internal stakeholders. * Be a key member of the legal team willing to step in and contribute where necessary to accomplish tasks and solve problems. What you bring… * Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. * Admission to and good standing with the Texas state bar. * Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an attorney with a corporate legal department or law firm preferred. * Large firm experience a plus * Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate governance, intellectual property, and other related areas of law. * Knowledge of technology law, SaaS industry standards, and employment law would be a plus. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint). * Strong legal research and analytical skills. * Litigation support through all aspects of a case (preparation, management, mediation, arbitration). * Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively within cross-functional teams to achieve results. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and deliver under tight deadlines and energized by the opportunity to solve problems. * Experience with a contract management software is a plus. Candidate must reside in Dallas or within a commutable distance from our Dallas office, as this is not a remote role. Axxess does not provide relocation assistance.
