Description

Beiersdorf is renowned for the manufacturing and distribution of high-quality skin and wound care products, including iconic brands such as NIVEA, Eucerin and Elastoplast. We are committed to innovation, sustainability, and enhancing the well-being of our customers. CARE is part of our DNA. We live CARE every day, everywhere, towards everyone. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and motivated lawyer to join our in-house legal team.
We are looking for a qualified lawyer to provide legal support to our business operations in Northern Europe (UK and Nordic countries). The ideal candidate has a background in reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and is not afraid of digging into areas of law and topics they are not yet familiar with. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work as a business partner closely with local, as well as regional business units/departments, providing legal guidance and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The role will be part of a team and directly report into the Director Legal & Compliance Northern Europe.

Responsibilities
  • Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating all types of commercial contracts, including supplier agreements regarding products and services as well as sales/distribution.
  • Functioning as a business partner for all business functions and being the key contact for the procurement department.
  • Providing legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on various commercial matters, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk management strategies.
  • Supporting the Director Legal & Compliance Northern Europe in implementing the Beiersdorf Compliance Program, e. g. revised guidelines, processes, and training material.
  • Executing the Beiersdorf Compliance training program.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Beiersdorf’s Corporate Legal Affairs functions at headquarters (Center of Excellence) as well as other in-house lawyers across Europe.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations with regards to the UK.
