Position Summary     As a Legal Counsel - Data Privacy, you will provide legal expertise and guidance to the Nestlé Group regarding data privacy matters, with a particular focus in consumer data privacy, including digital marketing and e-commerce. Your responsibilities will include offering strategic advice, ensuring compliance with applicable data privacy laws, and coordinating responses to data privacy inquiries, while partnering with key stakeholders across the organization, such as IT & Marketing global functions. Additionally, you will contribute to the monitoring of the Nestlé Privacy Program, assist in developing training materials, and promote data privacy initiatives externally. Don’t miss the opportunity to join us and work with different teams in an agile and diverse context.   A Day in the Life of a Legal Counsel - Data Privacy   Provide legal advice and ensure compliance with data privacy and data protection standards, policies, and legal requirements, with a particular focus on e-privacy and digital legislations, digital marketing and cybersecurity Provide practical guidance on new technologies and strategic projects including consumer data platforms, consent management platforms, AdTech practices, and privacy enhancing technologies Develop and implement training materials, best practices, and templates for data privacy compliance As part of the Group Data Protection Office, closely collaborate with Nestlé’s Global Network of Data Protection Champions to advise on projects and meet business objectives Monitor and assess compliance with data privacy laws, identify gaps, and propose safeguards Negotiate contracts to ensure data privacy compliance with vendors and partners Assist with global personal data transfers, responses to data subject requests and data privacy incidents Contribute to streamlining and automating data privacy compliance operations such as records of processing activities and privacy impact assessments Participate in change management initiatives and promote awareness of data privacy Educate on data ethics and address privacy and data governance considerations Advocate on data privacy matters in external meetings and associations   What will make you successful   Fully qualified lawyer with confirmed experience in an international environment, preferably in top law firms or multinational companies Certification as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) or equivalent is a plus Strong knowledge of data privacy and data protection laws, AI-related regulations, consumer data, e-commerce and digital marketing Proven track record of successful business partnering and collaboration with other functions, particularly IT & Marketing Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Fluency in English and another language, both oral and written   Nestlé is committed to the accessibility of its recruitment process.
