Job Description Provide solution-oriented advice, recommendation, guidance, support and training on all aspects of legal issues and regulatory risks. One of the key responsibilities of this role is to provide corporate entity management assistance for all of the Egis entities across Asia, managing external company secretary providers and ensuring all Group protocols are duly applied in terms of corporate governance requirements. Assist and advise on with all corporate legal matters within Asia with the support of external legal counsel. Provide legal and contract review advice in relation to operational projects within Asia and other strategic initiatives to the Egis operations. Coordinate insurance (PI, PL & GL) for Asia in close relationship with the Group. Promote ethics & compliance rules, policies and guidelines in Asia. Support local reporting of Ethics & Compliance violations and conduct investigations and monitor corrective action plans. Perform ad-hoc assignments or projects as required by the APAC GC and/or Senior Legal Counsel- Asia Qualifications Qualified to practice law in the Philippines or other relevant South East Asia jurisdictions with minimum 8 years PQE, preferably in-house. Excellent command of spoken and written English and local language. Experience in corporate entity management, company secretary and corporate governance. Attention to detail, well organized and initiative taker. Ethics and Compliance experience would be beneficial. Good team player who can work under pressure while managing competing demands. Autonomous, pragmatic and “hands-on” business partner attitude with a solution-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment.
