Make a Difference as Legal Counsel In this role, you will: Support and advise our Marketing and Sales (M&S) department on a wide variety of commercial legal matters worldwide. Draft and negotiate commercial agreements such as distribution agreements and general terms and conditions. Translate legal requirements into practical business solutions. When needed pick up work for the Legal Team in other areas that require support for example in the field of procurement, R&D or seed operations. Work on various projects to further optimize processes and ways of working. Stay in close contact with stakeholders within M&S and the wider Legal department. What You Bring as a Future Colleague You are: Experienced in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements. Practical and able to translate legal obligations into business language and vice versa. Skilled in assessing (legal) risks versus business continuity. Proactive and engaged, always looking for ways to improve ways of working. Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus. Academically qualified with a degree in Law and 5+ years of relevant experience in-house as part of an international organization or as a lawyer in an (international) law firm, working with teams in different time zones and with diverse cultural backgrounds.
