Our specific requirements for this position are:

• Master‘s Degree in Law from a Dutch University.
• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in the legal department of an international company or a commercial law firm.
• Solid knowledge of contract law and Dutch law in general.
• Experience within a fast-paced environment in a multinational/global organization.
• Commercial understanding and the ability to be a dealmaker.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.

CEVA Logistics is looking for a new Legal Counsel for the Benelux region. As a key member of our central department, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all legal issues and act as a business partner for our business lines and management in all fields of law. WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

As a Legal Counsel at CEVA Logistics, you will play a pivotal role within our Benelux organization, providing expert legal advice on corporate matters. You will conduct legal reviews, evaluations, and the drafting and negotiation of tenders and contracts in both Dutch and English. This includes logistics and outsourcing/transport contracts, commercial lease agreements, IT contracts, purchase contracts, and Letters of Intent (LOIs). Your expertise will ensure these documents meet all legal standards and support our business needs effectively.

As a Legal Counsel, your responsibilities include:

• Legal Counsel for all our business units, with the main focus on Contract Logistics business.
• Supporting, advising, and training the management, central departments, and operational colleagues in all legal matters, particularly in civil, commercial, real estate, transport and corporate law.
• Processing of claims and litigation, compliance matters, and corporate housekeeping.
• Coordinating with external lawyers.
