We are looking for a German speaking legal specialist (m, f, d) as Legal Counsel Fund Business Aufgaben Focus on all aspects of launching and maintaining private market funds, fund-of-funds or managed accounts as well as special projects / Conducting legal research and supporting fund structuring, review of legal documentation and investor negotiation / Drafting and reviewing offering documents, shareholder communications, advisory agreements, and fund governance materials / Working directly with investment professionals as well as with colleagues in the Legal, Finance, Tax and Compliance departments to facilitate onboarding and operation of private funds / Cooperating with tax and compliance teams to ensure compliance with applicable tax and securities laws / Ensuring regulatory alignment across fund products / Remaining up to date on relevant law developments in asset management regulation / Manage relationships with external law firms domiciled in Luxembourg, Ireland, Cayman Islands, etc. / Collaborating in the further development of legal and operational infrastructure / Ad hoc projects. Qualifikation Master’s degree in Law or Business Administration with LL.M. / Experience in launching or managing private market funds at an asset manager or consulting firm, e.g. Big Four / Familiarity, and experience with legal matters relevant to private fund / Analytical, result oriented personality with passion for fund business / Ability to thoughtfully balance the legal and commercial aspects of an issue / Ability to coordinate or collaborate with colleagues across multiple functions, including those in internal and external senior and executive leadership / Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and deadlines / Ability to competently identify problems, like an issue spotter, understanding complexity, including problem-solving / Ability to bringing in new ideas to increase efficiency of existing processes / Skilled with MS Office / English and German.
