Responsibilities: Providing legal advice on a wide range of matters, depending on business need and your experience and particular interest, including the following focus areas: product development, distribution/market conduct, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, operations, vendor contracting, privacy, and marketing, among other areas. Conduct legal research and analysis on various issues related to the GHNW business. Help to monitor, interpret, and report on relevant legal and regulatory developments that may impact the GHNW business. Draft, review, and sometimes negotiate vendor contracts, policy contracts, and other legal documents. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, compliance, risk management, among other functions, to ensure alignment and effective support for the business. Support the Chief Counsel and the broader legal, compliance, and risk teams in managing risk and helping to promote high-quality sustainable growth. Required Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in good standing in your jurisdiction. Experience in a law firm or in-house legal department. Experience with insurance, financial services, or corporate law. Outstanding analytical, research, written and verbal communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to client service. Ability to exercise discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information. Energetic and personable, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
