About the role We're seeking a passionate Legal Counsel to join our collaborative and dynamic ANZ Corporate Legal Team at Fujitsu. This is a blended role across employment and commercial law which involves providing legal support in commercial transactions, employment matters, and disputes across Australia and New Zealand. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Melbourne. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic legal advice to support business negotiations, minimise risk, and protect Fujitsu's commercial interests. Advise on employment law matters, including compliance with changing legislation and workplace regulations. Support dispute resolution by preparing legal advice, responses, and evidence. Guide the business on contractual obligations and ensure alignment with internal policies and customer standards. Build strong working relationships across teams, contributing to a positive and collaborative legal function. Requirements and Experience 2+ years' experience as an inhouse lawyer or in a law firm. Experience in one or more of the following areas: employment law, contract law, employee relations, or commercial/employment disputes. Experience in working on information technology contracts, including software licenses, services agreements, and outsourcing contracts preferred.
