Description

Schibsted Marketplaces is home to the most trusted and visited online marketplaces in the Nordics – including FINN (Norway), Blocket (Sweden), DBA and Bilbasen (Denmark), and Tori and Oikotie (Finland). Every day, we help millions of people make life-changing decisions – to buy, sell, hire, or get hired – by creating trusted matches through smart technology, strong brands, and deep local expertise.
Now, we’re looking for an experienced and business-oriented Legal Counsel to join FINN.no in Oslo and become part of our strong Nordic legal team.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As Legal Counsel, you will provide legal advice to FINN and support Schibsted Marketplaces across the Nordic region. You’ll join a team of 11 passionate and highly skilled legal professionals, and work closely with product teams, business leaders, and other key stakeholders in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
You will become a trusted advisor within a broad range of legal areas, primarily commercial law and corporate law, and play a key role in supporting our growth, compliance, and risk management across markets.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Be a strategic legal partner to FINN and other Nordic companies in Schibsted Marketplaces
  • Provide clear and practical advice within business/commercial law
  • Draft, review and negotiate contracts, including supplier, partnership and service agreements
  • Handle corporate governance tasks in Norway – including board meetings, AGMs and ad-hoc matters
  • Coordinate with internal legal experts and manage collaboration with external counsel
  • Identify and assess legal risks, and proactively suggest risk-mitigation measures
  • Support compliance initiatives and implement new EU legislation across the group
  • Contribute to M&A projects when relevant
