Job Description We’re looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Private Markets Funds legal team, supporting the growth and diversification of our Luxembourg‑domiciled private markets fund range. As part of a collaborative and high‑impact legal function, you’ll help deliver legal, regulatory and governance support across a broad spectrum of private markets products, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business. This is an excellent opportunity to develop deep expertise in a fast‑growing area while contributing to strategic initiatives across the organisation. What you’ll be doing: Delivering legal support across the full lifecycle of AIFs, unregulated collective investment schemes, joint ventures and partnership structures Assisting with launching new funds and new fund umbrellas across private markets infrastructure, private credit and venture capital asset classes Drafting, negotiating and updating fund documentation, and engaging with fund service providers Monitoring legal and regulatory developments and shaping strategic responses for the business Managing relationships with external counsel and overseeing aspects of the legal budget Providing legal risk assessments and advising internal teams and fund boards on effective mitigation strategies Supporting regulatory change projects and advising on relevant governance requirements Providing governance support and advising boards on governance matters Qualifications Who we’re looking for: A qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a current practising certificate Experience in private markets funds law and regulation within asset management or financial services Familiarity with AIFM regulation, Luxembourg fund structures and associated governance Experience negotiating agreements with fund service providers (e.g., Administration, Depositary, AIFM, IM) Strong academic background and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently Excellent stakeholder management skills and comfort engaging with individuals at all levels A proactive, organised individual able to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities A commercially aware, solution‑focused team player with a positive, collaborative approach Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
