  Legal Counsel - Litigation & investigations Job Purpose   To manage the Company’s dispute portfolio to minimize legal exposure and protect corporate assets. By delivering rigorous legal analysis, persuasive advocacy, and meticulous case management. This role serves as a core driver of the Company’s dispute resolution practice, managing complex caseloads from inception through resolution, and is responsible for overseeing outside counsel, driving internal investigations, and providing proactive legal advice to business units to mitigate risk before it reaches the courtroom.   Key Responsibilities   1-Health & Safety: Adhere to and enforce relevant legislation and policies and ensure that highest degree of safety and safe working practices are maintained. 2-Functional: Portfolio Oversight: Manage and track all active lawsuits (Civil, Criminal, Labor, and Tax) involving the Company Case Strategy & Management: Develop and implement winning litigation strategies for a diverse portfolio of cases Drafting & Review: Prepare and review legal memos, notices and settlement. Pre-Litigation Mediation: Lead negotiations to resolve disputes with vendors, contractors, or former employees before they escalate to the court system Reporting: Prepare litigation updates for the General Counsel and executive leadership, highlighting potential financial impacts or reputational risks. Regulatory Intelligence: Monitor updates in laws and regulations and conduct deep-dive legal research into emerging laws and regulations; translate complex legislative changes into practical business impact assessments. Legal Archiving: Maintain a digital and physical archive of all court judgments, ensuring that enforcement is handled swiftly by the relevant departments. Partnering with the HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Team after an onsite incident to provide a legal perspective on what went wrong and how to adjust   Education         Qualifications & Experience   Education:  Bachelor of law   Technical Skills: Knowledge of Labor law, Civil Code, Corporate Law, court procedures, Egyptian Penal Code, legal research; drafting of court notices, Litigation Lifecycle Management, drafting persuasive defense and rebuttal memos for all court levels, Formulating formal judicial notices Analytical thinking and skills Excellent attention to details Excellent Organizational skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent Computer skills (Word, excel and Power Point) Excellent Arabic and English Capacity to operate autonomously and handle numerous assignments concurrently Excellent drafting skills Problem solving   Experience:  3 to 5 years
