When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050. We provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively. We have a fantastic opportunity for Legal Counsel - MEH Alliance. The Role We are looking for a skilled and motivated Legal Counsel to join the Sizewell C Legal Team, to support with advising on Sizewell C’s interest in the formation and operation of the multi-billion pound Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC Alliance (‘MEH’) – one of the project’s most critical delivery partnerships. The successful candidate will provide pragmatic advice and support on all legal aspects of Sizewell C’s role and interest in the MEH Alliance, including formation, governance and ongoing operations; ensuring robust contractual, commercial, and regulatory compliance across a complex, multi-party alliance framework. You’ll work closely with senior colleagues in Delivery, Commercial, Finance and Project Controls as well as external advisers and alliance partners, to ensure the project’s construction activities are underpinned by robust, pragmatic legal solutions. The Skills A qualified solicitor or barrister (England & Wales) with strong experience in construction, infrastructure, or energy law. Solid grounding in construction and engineering contracts (NEC, FIDIC, or alliance models). Experience advising on large, complex infrastructure or energy projects. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance risk with project objectives. A collaborative mindset, comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams. Why Join Us?
