Description

WHAT EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE:

  • Qualified solicitor or equivalent experience, with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience
  • Demonstrable commercial focus and the ability to quickly understand the business drivers behind legal decisions
  • Plain-speaking and able to build relationships across all levels of the business, making legal advice accessible and practical
  • Ideally present a background of operating in-house, although this isn’t essential
  • A passion for healthy, sustainable products which are better for our consumers and the planet – you don’t have to be a vegetarian to work for Quorn!

Responsibilities

Work closely with all areas of the business, providing legal advice that helps drive commercial decisions. You’ll get involved in reviewing and negotiating a wide range of contracts, from key supplier agreements to sales, marketing and ICT services.
Advising on GDPR and privacy will give you the chance to shape how the business handles data protection, while drafting and reviewing policies will ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement. You’ll also deliver training to embed this understanding across the company.
Get involved in company secretarial work and provide legal support across logistics, utilities, employment and litigation, giving you broad exposure and hands-on experience in multiple areas of law.
The position will be based from our Leeds office circa 2-3 days per week along with the opportunity to work flexibly/remotely when required.
