  • Sydney CDB based (on-site position)
    The Legal Counsel is responsible for providing timely, effective and strategic legal advice on everything from large-scale corporate and real-estate transactions to corporate compliance, construction matters, disputes, workplace relations, operational issues, debt/equity matters.

Responsibilities

The key focus areas of the role will include (but not limited to):

  • Legal Advice & Compliance: Provide strategic, solution-focused legal advice across the business. Support governance, manage risk, and ensure legal compliance.
  • Contracts & Documentation: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and legal documents with precision and efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal teams, external advisors, and government bodies. Manage external legal providers to ensure commercially sound outcomes.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks, support expansion into new development areas, and promote a culture of legal awareness across the business.
