Swappie’s legal team is now looking for a new team member who wants to support Swappie’s success by ensuring that Swappie negotiates the best contracts with suppliers and other partners.

LEGAL COUNSEL

As Legal Counsel you will be responsible for securing Swappie’s contracts and agreements with suppliers, partners and service providers. You will also support and advise the business with wide range of compliance topics, such as GDPR and product compliance obligations. You shall collaborate closely with our Supply, Finance, Operations and Product teams and support them with e.g. agreements, receivables collection and fulfilling our regulatory obligations.
We are looking for a business driven Legal Counsel with a can-do attitude and ability to think critically. Good project management and collaboration skills will be put to their best use with several internal stakeholders.
The role is full time and permanent, and you will be working with a small in-house legal team, with two other ambitious and positive law professionals. We welcome you to the team as soon as you are able to join us!

• Supporting Swappie’s global supply function with ensuring we have the best contractual terms - you will support the Account Managers with drafting, reviewing, updating and negotiating agreements
• Owning the legal process of collecting receivables from suppliers if legal advice or dispute resolution is required
• The legal side of any partnerships and agreements, such as kiosk automats and third party drop-off points
• Payment and Logistics Service Provider agreements
• Being up-to-date on regulatory developments and ensuring Swappie fulfills its regulatory obligations (e.g. GDPR and WEEE)
