Job Description Provide advice to internal stakeholders on legal risks and compliance issues, balancing legal risk with commercial objectives Review, draft and negotiate business contracts, agreements and other legal documents, including customer contracts, supplier contracts, terms and conditions, and partnership agreement Support data protection and privacy compliance, including GDPR and other applicable regulations Assist in the management and protection of the company’s intellectual property portfolio (trademarks, copyrights, etc.) Coordinate with external counsel on specialist matters as required Monitor legal and regulatory developments and changes in laws and regulations relevant to the business and ensure business practices align with current laws and regulations Provide support on corporate governance related matters as well as in strategic transactions Identify and mitigate potential legal risks associated with the company’s business activities Conduct legal research on legal issues and developments Reports to the VP Legal Qualifications JD degree in law 3-5 years of experience, gained at a law firm or as in-house legal counsel in a business environment (experience in a tech business considered a plus) Solid knowledge of commercial agreements (incl. SaaS), corporate law and data protection Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills Pro-active, business-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving skills The ability to work independently with guidance from senior legal team members and manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken) (German considered a plus) Compensation: EUR 5500 - EUR 6000 - monthly
