We are looking for a highly motivated and responsible lawyer to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Roles & Responsibilities: Drafting and negotiating commercial sales and purchase agreements with Torq’s worldwide customers and vendors both private and government sectors. Responding to due diligence questionnaires, RFP’s and solicitations of customers in both commercial and government sectors. Drafting and negotiating a range of commercial agreements (NDAs, channel partners, tech partners, services agreements, procurement, etc) Supporting various internal departments on a range of matters (marketing, sales, product, R&D) Handling ad-hoc assignments and projects including legal operations, intellectual property, insurance certificates, procurement Working with external counsel as required Qualification: 3+ years experience (not including internship) in commercial/technology department at a leading law firm or as in-house legal counsel at a hi-tech company Knowledge of data protection/privacy laws - required Experience in SaaS agreements – required Experience in US federal, state and local government – preferred Native (or native-level) English – required Attention to detail, critical thinking and highly organized Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Candidates should be based in the Boston, MA area.
