The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Advisor to be a part of our mission to create exceptional cities and communities!
Join us in a pivotal role where you’ll collaborate with key stakeholders in Urbis and Cistri to provide outstanding legal and commercial advice. Your keen attention to detail, organisational prowess, and negotiation skills will ensure seamless operations and compliance. Leverage your expertise to enhance our legal function, manage risks, and support our business needs.

You will:

  • Review, amend, and negotiate agreements with clients, subcontractors, and third-party service providers.
  • Act as the primary contact for contractual risk, privacy law, insurance matters, and company information provision.
  • Establish Master Service Agreements with key clients.
  • Assist the Head of Legal with regulatory compliance, policy oversight, and risk mitigation.
  • Manage aspects of the Urbis Group insurance policy portfolio.
  • Complete regulatory compliance surveys and questionnaires.
  • Provide training on contracting issues to internal stakeholders.
  • Advise on commercial law, intellectual property protection, and insurance issues.
  • Assist in company secretarial and governance activities, including maintaining statutory records and registers.
  • Contribute to workplace health & safety (WHS) initiatives.
