Legal Counsel (Mid-Level) - Western Education Preferred 📍 Location: United Arab Emirates 🏢 Industry: Digital Media, Content Creation & Marketing 🕓 Experience: 5–7 years 🌍 Languages: Arabic & English (bilingual proficiency required) About the Role We are seeking a Mid-Level Legal Counsel to join our dynamic and fast-growing group specializing in digital media, content creation, and marketing. The ideal candidate will provide strategic legal guidance, ensure compliance across entities, and support business operations with a practical and solutions-oriented approach. Key Responsibilities Provide legal advice on a wide range of corporate, commercial, and media-related matters. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including talent agreements, sponsorships, partnerships, production, and licensing deals. Advise on intellectual property, digital rights management, and content usage across multiple platforms. Support the group’s subsidiaries with compliance, risk management, and regulatory filings. Liaise with external counsel when required and manage legal documentation and records. Support leadership with company policies, employment law matters, and governance frameworks. Stay up to date with legal developments affecting the media, tech, and creative sectors in the UAE and wider GCC. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; western legal education preferred. Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably within media, digital, or tech industries. Strong understanding of UAE commercial law and familiarity with international contract standards. Excellent drafting and negotiation skills in both English and Arabic.
