JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Data Analyst to assist with enhancing criminal justice records through document research and data entry. In this role, you’ll collect and analyze court documents from various jurisdictions and maintain accurate data to support ongoing compliance and registration programs. This is an in-office role that directly contributes to public safety and data integrity.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (preferably in Legal Studies, Criminal Justice, or a related field)
  • 2+ years of experience with documentation processing or data collection
  • 1+ year of legal research experience using platforms such as LexisNexis, Westlaw, INcite, or Doxpop
  • Familiarity with criminal history documents: Triple I, probable cause affidavits, sentencing records, PSI reports, etc.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret criminal and administrative codes and legal terminology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong discretion when handling confidential material

    Pay: Up to $23.17 per hour
    Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Responsibilities
  • Research and collect legal and court documents from within the state and other jurisdictions
  • Analyze and interpret sentencing documents, court orders, and related legal material
  • Accurately enter and maintain data in the designated tracking system
  • Communicate with local, state, and federal law enforcement and judicial agencies
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Manage multiple tasks and assignments with accuracy and timeliness
