We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Legal Director to join the team in our Manchester office. We are looking for a dynamic legal professional who is deeply committed to client service excellence and relationship development. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and demonstrate the ability to deliver high-quality legal advice and solutions tailored to our clients’ needs.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years’ PQE within mortgage repossession
  • Skilled in managing complex litigation, including judicial reviews and public law proceedings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for legal drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Analytical skills to assess legal risks and develop practical solutions.
  • Proven track record of managing legal teams and overseeing casework
Responsibilities

ROLE PROFILE

As a Legal Director you will be responsible for overseeing legal strategy, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, managing legal risk, and leading legal teams

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proviing premium legal expertise and carrying out high value complex work
  • Leading the Group’s work in a specific legal practice area
  • Taking on a key management/leadership role for more junior fee earners including providing legal supervision
  • Manage client expectations effectively on matters and ensures that client expectations are understood and met by the team
  • Managing the Group’s relationship with certain key clients
