We are seeking a Legal– Director, to provide legal opinions and legal advice to all levels of corporate and operating management regarding legal issues with operating and/or strategic implications. This position also provides advice to corporate and operating management regarding compliance with local and national laws affecting the Company. Location São Paulo – SP, Brazil Hybrid | 3x2 Key Responsibilities * Responsible for providing proactive, timely, and business-focused legal advice to management of the Business and the country management teams on all legal matters impacting business operations in Brazil. * Responsibilities include providing legal support for all aspects of operations in Brazil, including: drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts for the company, distributor/dealer agreements, vendor agreements, other commercial contracts; advising on advertising, promotion and branding programs and materials; managing collections, bankruptcy, antitrust and competitive response issues; advising on product safety, product regulation, contract management, anti-corruption policies, privacy, employment, environmental matters, labor / employment, regulatory, and inventory transport;  drafting and reviewing corporate documents; and providing legal support for merger and acquisition activity in Brazil.  * Manages claims and litigation.  * Offers legal advice regarding issues with operating and/or strategic implications and advises corporate and operating management regarding compliance with laws affecting the Company’s operations in Brazil. * Is attuned to legal and business trends that could impact the business and proactively and effectively communicates this information to business partners and supervisor; provides regular training to employees regarding important and strategic legal subjects; understands and supports business strategy in Brazil; builds, transparent, strong and effective working relationships with country management teams. * Communicates regularly with the Assistant General Counsel and builds, transparent, strong and effective working relationships with other members of the Brazil and headquarters legal teams. * Provides, as required and in coordination with the Assistant General Counsel, legal support to the company operations in other Latin America countries.     Requirements Education * Authorized to practice law in Brazil and be in good standing with the Brazil bar. * Attorney at law with 15+ years of professional experience      Skills & Competencies • Strong leadership and people management capabilities, including leading through influence. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strategic mindset with strong judgment, integrity, and ability to drive results. • Comfortable interacting with senior executives, government officials, and external stakeholders.   Languages • English – Advanced • Spanish – Advanced
