You are a strategic thinker passionate about driving solutions in Legal Entity control. You have found the right team. As a Legal Entity controller in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm. Job Responsibilities * Perform legal entity accounting and control monthly, including month-end close, parent/child accounting, equity pickup, inter-entity break reviews, and monitoring of unnatural general ledger balances. * Conduct month-end analytical reviews to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial statements; prepare contributions to the Monthly Controller’s Book, legal entity and line-of-business commentary, and required regulatory reports. * Investigate, analyze, and resolve issues; respond to ad hoc queries promptly and thoroughly. * Assist with Booking Model reviews and monitor ongoing compliance with the Legal Entity Control Standard. * Control intercompany activity, including preparing variance analyses and commentary. * Monitor the general ledger, including consolidation and netting activities, to ensure accuracy and timeliness. * Participate in firmwide legal entity reporting projects, driving infrastructure and process improvements and supporting other Controller initiatives as needed. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills * Minimum 1 year experience in an analytical and financial role and should have worked experience in controllership * Understanding of financial statement structures and US GAAP / IFRS or any local GAAP * Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills * Bachelor’s degree required, CA/MBA (Finance) an advantage * Knowledge of Tableau and Alteryx will be an added advantage * Should be flexible to work in EMEA shifts JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
