Description About the Role The Legal Intern will support the Legal Department with research, document preparation, and administrative legal tasks. This role provides hands-on exposure to corporate/legal operations and offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in a fast-paced professional environment. The intern will work closely with the General Counsel and cross-functional partners to assist with ongoing legal matters and special projects. What will you do? Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, case law, and industry-specific compliance matters Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and internal legal documents Support document organization, file management, and contract tracking systems Prepare summaries, memoranda, and reports for internal stakeholders Assist with compliance audits and policy updates Support litigation preparation, including discovery organization and document review (if applicable) Attend internal meetings and take notes on legal discussions as needed Provide general administrative support to the Legal team Learning Opportunities Exposure to real-world corporate legal matters Mentorship from experienced legal professionals Hands-on experience with contract review and compliance processes Insight into cross-functional business operations Requirements Candidate Requirements Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program (Pre-Law, Political Science, Business, or related field) or Juris Doctor (JD) program. (2L preferred) Strong research, analytical, and writing skills High attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Licenses, Registrations, Certificates Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license Prior internship or work experience in a legal or corporate environment Familiarity with legal research tools Location & Commitments Frequent use of hands and fingers to prod, handle, feel, or reach. Regularly required to talk or hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision requirements include close vision and the ability to focus vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
