Description
We are looking for a talented Law student to join our team as a summer Legal Intern, supporting our Corporate Business  in Indianapolis, IN and/or your remote home office. Our Summer Legal interns receive extensive training and mentorship,  as well as exposure to legal work in a variety of practice areas such as Intellectual Property, Commercial Transactions,  Litigation, Labor and Employment and Cybersecurity. At Cummins, we strive to align the legal work with your legal  interests whereby you are provided with the opportunity to make an impact with a variety of projects and leadership roles. In this role, you will make a difference in one or more of the following ways:  * Perform legal research and analysis  * Draft contracts using templates and established Cummins procedures  * Attend commercial negotiations, mediations, and client meetings  * Lead legal projects and process improvements  * Examine legal data to determine strategies  * Analyze potential outcome of cases, legislation, and regulation    Cummins is an equal opportunity employer.
