Start your journey with us The corporate legal department is currently seeking a legal and compliance analyst for our corporate legal and compliance training program. On-the-Job Training (70%25) • Spending one to two months shadowing and providing support for the following departments: Corporate Legal, Legal-Litigation, Reinsurance, Contract Administration, and Regulatory and Compliance. • Attending compliance audits and regulatory briefings • Shadowing legal counsel during policy drafting insurance policy forms, notices, and advertising materials • Shadowing legal counsel and compliance specialists in reviewing and responding to consumer and state agency complaints. • Participate in reviewing and responding to state agency audits. • Participate in drafting and revising company policies Classroom Instruction (20%25) (L&D, PLI, APCIA) • U.S. corporate law overview • Regulatory compliance (SEC, FCPA, GDPR) • Contract drafting and negotiation • Intellectual property basics • Legal ethics and professional responsibility • Reinsurance training • U.S. Insurance Law Overview (state vs. federal regulation) • Risk Management and Compliance (NAIC standards, ERISA, HIPAA) • Claims Handling and Litigation Procedures • Corporate Governance in Insurance Firms • Ethics and Professional Responsibility in Insurance Law Evaluation & Supervision (10%25) • Monthly performance reviews • Written assessments • Final presentation on a legal topic relevant to the trainee’s home country Enhance your talents Providing outstanding service and developing strong relationships with our independent agents are hallmarks of our company.
