Job Overview We are currently seeking an experienced and highly professional Legal Manager to join a prestigious and discreet organisation. This is a Full-Time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's legal affairs, providing strategic legal guidance to senior management, and ensuring the organisation operates in full compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This role is integral to safeguarding the company's reputation and supporting its strategic objectives by managing legal risk effectively. Responsibilities Provide expert legal counsel and guidance on a wide range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of complex legal documents and commercial contracts. Identify, analyse, and mitigate potential legal risks to the organisation. Develop, implement, and maintain internal governance policies and procedures to ensure full legal compliance. Manage all litigation, disputes, and regulatory proceedings, liaising with and managing external legal counsel as required. Advise on matters of corporate governance, ensuring the organisation adheres to the highest standards of practice. Stay informed of changes in legislation and the regulatory environment within Saudi Arabia that could impact the business. Collaborate with various internal departments to provide comprehensive legal support for all business activities. Qualifications A fully qualified lawyer with a degree in Law (LLB, JD, or equivalent) from a reputable university. Substantial post-qualification experience, ideally gained within a leading law firm or a large in-house corporate legal department. In-depth and demonstrable knowledge of Saudi Arabian corporate and commercial law is essential. Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills in both English and Arabic. Strong analytical skills with a pragmatic and commercially-focused approach to problem-solving. The ability to work autonomously, manage a diverse workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A high degree of professional ethics, integrity, and discretion is paramount for this role.
