Due to the continued expansion of our banking activities, we are looking for a: Job Description Job purpose: To cope with an increase in duties of the department, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to actively participate to the expansion of the bank and the further development of the Company Secretary Division, he/she will report to the Company Secretary and will participate, among others, to the company secretariat duties and various administrative tasks related to day-to-day work. Responsibilities would be, but not be limited to, the following: Company secretariat: support the Company Secretary in the management of the Bank’s overall corporate governance (e.g. drafting agenda and minutes of board and sub-committees, action points follow-up, drafting AGM/EGM and documentation relating to standard corporate administration, trade register maintenance, follow-up of management’s authorizations with regulators, general correspondence with legal stakeholders and regulators etc.) Group oversight: support the Company Secretary in the oversight of European subsidiaries and branches of Bank of China (Europe) S.A, acting as point of contact for European subsidiaries and branches corporate officers and ensuring a good communication and collaboration between entities. Qualifications Profile (Technical Skills): Strong and practical knowledge of Luxembourg company law and corporate secretarial matters as well as general business administration in a financial environment Excellent clerical skills: strong written communication skills (particularly in administrative English language), attention to detail, strong organization skills, computer literate Good knowledge of the Luxembourg legal environment as well as main regulations especially in corporate governance (EBA, CSSF) as well as good understanding of usual matters coming to the Board Profile (Soft Skills): Good analytical, drafting and issue-solving skills Able to work effectively under pressure Strong organization skills Team player in a multicultural environment Language skills: Proficiency knowledge of Mandarin Chinese and English language is mandatory, French will be considered as strong assets Education: Master degree in law, business or business administration (or equivalent) Experience: From 1 to 5 years in a similar position with a financial institution.
