Do you have a passion for civil law and litigation? If you enjoy investigative work and analytical decision making, and get a thrill from dispute resolution and negotiation, we might have the next challenge you are looking for.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Legal Officer to join our busy and dynamic civil claims team. The successful applicant will have conduct of case work handling personal injury and property damage claims pursued against the three Orbis Local Authorities. The role will predominantly consist of pre-action claims relating to the Highways Act 1980, Occupiers Liability and Employers Liability.
We are seeking skilled communicators who are team players with a willingness to learn.

We are looking for candidates who…

  • Hold one the following qualifications; Institute of Legal Executive qualification or a substantial part thereof or equivalent or similar qualification e.g. law degree, LPC or BVC or substantial proven fee-earning experience in a legal practice.
  • Has an interest in Tort law and Civil Litigation.
  • Are able to analyse facts, research the law and apply it.
