In this role, you will partner with the Legal Operations Director to help promote continuous improvement and enable improved decision-making within the Progress Legal Department. The Legal Operations Team manages projects, processes, systems, and resources with impact across the Legal Department or the Company, as well as project management for large-scale projects. This full-time, hybrid role covers Eastern Time Zone working hours with at least two days per week spent in-person at the San Jose, Costa Rica office. To excel in this role, you will need to be able to effectively manage multiple workstreams and work with various stakeholders to drive the completion of complex projects within a set timeline.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor ticket handling data for the legal department and generate reports
- Track legal department costs against budget
- Route vendor invoices for approval and payment
- Manage the renewal of vendor licenses and subscription services
- Assist with legal department employee onboarding and offboarding
- Work with various departments to ensure posted policies are kept up-to-date
- Assist with the completion of insurance renewal applications, including by collecting requested information from internal stakeholders
- Work with stakeholders and the Legal Operations Director to identify opportunities for process improvement, and implement solutions throughout the legal department
