Responsibilities

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN THIS ROLE?

In this role, you will report to the Director of Legal Operations and provide essential support to the General Counsel, whilst also improving key processes within the wider L&BA department.
The overall purpose of the role is to support the smooth and efficient operation of the Legal and Business Affairs department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Understanding the business strategy and priorities of the General Counsel.
  • Acting as the process owner for standard/central L&BA administrative processes.
  • Overall responsibility for managing the diary of the General Counsel.
  • Ownership of communications within L&BA and co-ordination with the wider corporate Internal Communications team.
  • Management of L&BA’s business facing Sharepoint site.
  • Supporting the implementation and day to day running of legal systems within L&BA.
  • Ownership of departmental reporting and a best practice approach to metrics.
  • Responsibility for the starters and leavers process within L&BA including improvements to existing processes.
  • Organising and co-ordinating a departmental training plan.
  • Managing the procure to pay and expenses process as it relates to the General Counsel.
  • Organising departmental meetings, travel and events.
  • Monitoring incoming communications on behalf of the General Counsel.
  • Managing departmental subscriptions including Solicitors Regulation Authority renewals.
  • Acting as the on-site point of contact for external visitors to L&BA.
