Operations Manager Kenny Habetz Injury Law – Lafayette, LA About the Role Kenny Habetz Injury Law is looking for an experienced and highly organized Operations Manager to lead the performance and efficiency of our growing personal injury law firm. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Lafayette, Louisiana. In this role, you’ll work closely with our attorneys and directly manage all non-attorney team members, including Case Managers, Legal Assistants, Intake Specialists, Receptionists, and Medical Records Specialists. You’ll make sure our people are supported, our processes run smoothly, and our clients receive the best possible service. Key Responsibilities Staff Leadership & Performance Management Supervise and manage all staff below the attorney level. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to provide coaching, feedback, and accountability. Ensure staff are meeting performance expectations, deadlines, and client service standards. Partner with attorneys to align staff performance with case strategies and firm goals. Operational Oversight & Process Improvement Identify inefficiencies in workflows and implement firm-wide process improvements. Develop, document, and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for case management, intake, medical record requests, and client communications. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and firm policies. Communication & Collaboration Serve as the primary liaison between attorneys and support staff. Promote a professional, positive, and team-oriented culture. Facilitate consistent communication across all departments. Metrics & Reporting Track and monitor caseloads, turnaround times, and staff productivity. Generate and present performance reports to firm leadership. Use data-driven insights to guide staffing, training, and process changes. Training & Development Oversee onboarding and training of new hires. Provide ongoing development and cross-training opportunities. Address performance gaps promptly and constructively. Qualifications Required Minimum 3+ years of management or operations leadership experience in a law firm (personal injury experience strongly preferred). Proven ability to supervise, coach, and hold staff accountable. Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Demonstrated success in streamlining processes and improving efficiency. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Must be able to work onsite full-time in Lafayette, Louisiana. Preferred Experience in a personal injury law firm. Familiarity with legal practice management software (SmartAdvocate preferred).
