As a hybrid between a media and tech company, we help music rights holders monetize and distribute their content online. We are looking for a Legal Operations Specialist / Paralegal to serve as the backbone of our legal department and coordinate with our legal team, external counsel, and our licensors. This role is for someone who excels at managing complex workflows and maintaining transparent and high-level communication. Tasks In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of legal matters spanning European, Asian, and American jurisdictions. Your day-to-day tasks will include: Coordinating legal disputes, managing case files, tracking deadlines, and organizing documents. Liasing with our legal team and external law firms to process cases effectively. Keeping licensors and other stakeholders informed of legal matters concerning their assets. Maintaining and organizing our contract database, ensuring all agreements are correctly executed and filed. Assisting in the drafting and review of license agreements. Requirements Experience working as a paralegal, legal assistant, or have a degree in law/business law Strong communication and team collaboration skills Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously under deadlines A structured, organized, and reliable working style Experience working as part of a team and in an international environment Full working proficiency in English It's a bonus if you have: Full working proficiency in other languages, especially German Experience with intellectual property / copyright law Sophisticated understanding of and experience with international music business, for example at a music label, music publishing company, music distributor, or performance rights organization Business judgment and strategic thinking skills Entrepreneurial and creative thinking skills Who we're looking for: High Energy: You are motivated and don't procrastinate, but are thriving when making real impact.
