Job Details Job Location: Raleigh, NC 27612 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Summary: Responsible for providing administrative support for different practice areas. Essential Job Functions: Ability to respond quickly to changing demands and be self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent document management skills. Strong organizational skills. Professional oral and written communication skills. Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail. Skilled at dealing with clients. Able to work in a fast-paced team environment and manage deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and Adobe; PowerPoint a plus. Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Formatting briefs, pleadings and other legal documents Keeping track of attorney time records and billing Filing legal documents (e-filling skills are required) Transcribing dictation Corresponding with clients Maintaining calendars Open new files and client matters Request conflict of interest checks Maintain all client and general files Maintain client contact when appropriate Work closely with other administrative support staff (conflicts, records, office services, etc.) Receive clients and visitors; maintains good public relations with clients; observes confidentiality of attorney-client relationship Proof read documents Educational and Experience Requirements: High School diploma required. 5 years of legal experience is required Work Environment and Physical Demands: In office position Ability to work extended hours when necessary.
