Overview:
This small, well establised, solicitor’s office is seeking a Receptionist/ Audio Typist who will primarily be responsible for dealing directly with the public at the front counter, taking phone calls and emails, keeping the diary, arranging appointments, clerical support, transcribing letters and general audio typing. In addition to exceptional typing and organisational skills, the ideal candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with members of the public.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Transcribing letters and legal documents accurately and efficiently.
2. Handling telephone calls and ensuring effective communication with clients and other parties.
3. Maintaining an office diary to keep track of appointments, deadlines, and important events.
4. Demonstrating flexibility and teamwork in fitting into a small office environment.
5. Prioritising tasks and managing workload effectively.
6. Upholding confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
The successful candidate should have excellent typing speed and accuracy, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience in audio typing is essential whilst experience in a legal setting is beneficial, but not essential.
Days and hours of work to be discussed and pay commensurate with experience.
