OVERVIEW

We are a Firm of Solicitors with a friendly team who are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our company. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience with in a Legal environment is essential. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations within the office and providing exceptional service to clients and visitors. The job role is full time, however part time would be considered.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a legal office environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SARS is preferred.
  • Proficiency in LEAP is an advantage, but not essential as training will be given.
  • Strong clerical skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and record keeping.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A friendly disposition with strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with clients and colleagues alike.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings.
  • Handle clerical duties including data entry, filing, and maintaining records accurately.
  • Handling incoming post and scanning into our case management system.
  • Handling of outgoing post.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to support various office functions.
