Minimum GCSEs (grade A-C) in English and Mathematics, or equivalent
Possess strong IT & typing skills, a proactive attitude, ready to be a part of fast-paced environment
Be a team player who is flexible, self-sufficient
Work independently while receiving support and supervision as needed
Responsibilities
Answering each phone call, transferring them to the appropriate fee-earner/secretary. Recording name of caller / who they wish to speak to in Record Book
Checking out of hours voicemail messages
Collecting, opening and distributing the post
Checking and answering emails on Outlook
Greeting clients coming into reception and informing fee-earner/secretary of their arrival
Offering each client a tea/coffee, tidying up afterwards
Filling up the Tassimo coffee machine and emptying, cleaning, cups etc for waiting room
Secretarial support, taking any overflow audio typing (such as Attendance Notes)
Handling Will packets from store - retrieval and return
Helping generally where required - including file storage (archiving)
