QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma; post-secondary education or legal administrative training is an asset.
  • 1–2 years of reception or administrative experience, ideally in a legal or professional office setting.
  • 1 year of accounts payable experience is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Gmail, and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, professional demeanor, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors.
  • Efficiently handle incoming calls, emails, faxes, and mail distribution.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments.
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, and courier deliveries.
  • Assist legal staff by scanning, printing, and organizing files.
  • Safeguard and handle confidential information with utmost discretion.
  • Support lawyers and legal staff with various administrative tasks, as needed.
  • Process invoices and ensure timely payments.
  • Manage accounting ledger and payment records.
