The Law Offices of James L. Arrasmith is seeking an organized and proactive Recruiter to support hiring across the firm’s legal, administrative, and operational teams. This role manages the recruitment process from job posting to candidate placement while ensuring a professional candidate experience. The Recruiter will work with attorneys and department leaders to understand hiring needs, source qualified candidates, screen resumes, schedule interviews, manage job postings, and assist with offers and onboarding. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple open roles at once. Legal recruiting or law firm experience is a plus, but not required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job posting to candidate placement. * Work with attorneys and department leaders to understand hiring needs. * Draft and manage job postings across recruiting platforms. * Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and professional networks. * Review resumes and conduct initial candidate screenings. * Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers. * Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system. * Assist with reference checks, background screening, offer letters, and onboarding. * Build a pipeline of qualified legal and administrative candidates. * Ensure recruiting practices comply with employment laws and firm policies. QUALIFICATIONS * Prior recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, or HR experience. * Strong communication and organizational skills. * Ability to manage multiple open roles at one time. * Experience using job boards, LinkedIn, ATS platforms, or recruiting tools. * Professional, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information. * Law firm or legal recruiting experience is a plus. COMPENSATION $23 to $28 per hour.
