We’re looking for an experienced Legal Recruiter to join our team as an independent contractor in a commission-only, remote position. EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a full-cycle Legal Recruiter or Legal Placement Sourer with a strong focus on legal placements, and Attorney recruiting or sourcing experience is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of the legal industry, including law firm structures, practice areas, and the legal hiring landscape.
  • Self-motivation and discipline to work independently in a remote, commission-based environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and client-first approach.
  • High level of organization, time management, and accountability.
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other recruitment and sourcing technologies.
  • An active LinkedIn Recruiter license is ideal. Reimbursement is available upon successful placement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred but not required.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Remote Legal Recruiter, you’ll manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, sourcing and placing high-caliber legal talent with our clients. Your expertise in legal hiring, market insight, and relationship-building will drive your success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing to placement, including candidate outreach, interviews, offer negotiation, and onboarding support.
  • Attorney Recruiting: Focus primarily on recruiting legal professionals, including associates, partners, in-house counsel, and legal support roles.
  • Talent Sourcing: Leverage your network, job boards, social media, ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other tools to identify top candidates.
  • Candidate Assessment: Evaluate candidates for skills, qualifications, experience, and cultural fit through comprehensive interviews.
  • Client Engagement: Build and nurture strong client relationships by understanding hiring needs and delivering tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Pipeline Development: Maintain a strong and steady pipeline of legal talent to meet current and future client demand.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay current with legal industry trends, hiring practices, compensation data, and competitive insights.
