SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Previous experience in a paralegal or Legal Secretary role in Wills, Trusts and Probate
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and legal procedures in private client matters
  • A strong client-focused approach with the ability to develop and maintain relationships
  • A team player with a willingness to learn and develop professionally
  • Experience dealing with high-net-worth clients or complex estates is an advantage
  • A strong desire to develop your expertise in Wills, Trusts and Probate law

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely while meeting tight deadlines
  • Ability to build and maintain effective business relationships with clients

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drafting Wills and assisting with Will preparations
  • Liaising with clients, colleagues and third parties in a professional and timely manner
  • Diary management, filing and document preparation
  • Managing correspondence, including drafting letters and emails to clients and other stakeholders
  • Assisting with the administration of estates, including applying for Grants of Probate
  • Assisting in the preparation and administration of trusts
  • Conducting legal research and preparing correspondence
  • Assisting senior colleagues with complex cases and transactions
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting the team with client billing, compliance and time recording
