JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Secretary to join our dynamic legal team. EXPERIENCE

  • Proficient in audio typing with a strong typing speed and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate clear interactions with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while adhering to deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Perform audio typing and transcription of legal documents, including letters, reports, and court submissions.
  • Manage and organise files, ensuring all documentation is accurately maintained and easily accessible.
  • Draft correspondence and communicate effectively with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and court dates while managing the calendar for the legal team.
  • Utilise Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook for document preparation and communication.
  • Assist with billing and invoicing processes as required by the legal team.
  • Conduct basic IT troubleshooting to support office technology needs.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with legal standards.
