LEGAL SECRETARY / LEGAL ASSISTANT / RECEPTIONIST (FULL-TIME – IMMEDIATE START)

Start Date: Immediate
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent. Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM In-office only
Salary: Starting at $45,000/year
About the Role:
We are a boutique, fast paced legal office seeking a reliable and professional full time Legal Secretary / Legal Assistant / Receptionist to join our team immediately. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, personable, and looking to grow in a legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and answer phone calls with professionalism and courtesy
  • Schedule meetings and manage calendars for lawyers and staff
  • Open, organize, and maintain client files (both physical and digital)
  • Draft and prepare standard legal documents and correspondence
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Perform general administrative and receptionist duties to support daily operations
  • Liaise with courts, clients, and other law offices when needed

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Comfortable with managing confidential information
  • Able to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Punctual, reliable, and professional demeanour

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Legal office experience strongly preferred
  • Law Clerk or Legal Assistant diploma an asset
  • Experience with legal software or document filing systems is a plus
