CONVEYANCING LEGAL SECRETARY

A job opening for a legal secretary at a busy high street firm in Coventry. You will be working in a busy and robust conveyancing team. An opportunity to work alongside Fee earners and the Senior Director.

• To assist the fee earners with file management
• General administration to include scanning, filing, typing, handling telephone enquiries/requests, and archiving
• Diary management
• Updating clients
• Taking client calls
• Filing and organising client files
• Completing SDLT forms
• acting promptly in opening new files
• Closing files and archiving.
• Typing of documents and correspondence
• Dealing with incoming queries from clients
• applying for relevant searches
• HMLR registrations for all purchase, lease or re-mortgage matters
  As well as having good secretarial and IT skills we are looking for a legal secretary with a solid understanding of procedures and be able to proactively assist with some minor paralegal duties and handle searches, completion statements etc.
