Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Secretary to join a well-established legal practice in Belfast. The successful candidate will support one or more fee earners in the conveyancing department, providing essential administrative and secretarial assistance to ensure the smooth running of residential property transactions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 2–3 years’ experience as a legal secretary, ideally within conveyancing
  • Strong audio typing skills and experience with digital dictation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Providing full secretarial support to fee earners handling residential property matters
  • Audio and copy typing of correspondence, forms, and legal documents
  • Opening and closing files in line with office procedures
  • Handling client telephone calls and emails in a professional and friendly manner
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and other third parties
  • Managing diaries, scheduling appointments, and organising meetings
  • Assisting with the drafting of contracts, transfers, and other conveyancing documents
  • General administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and photocopying
