EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role within a legal environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
  • Strong audio typing skills with a keen eye for detail in written communication.
  • Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A solid understanding of legal terminology and procedures is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to lawyers, including managing calendars and scheduling appointments.

  • Maintain an organised filing system for both physical and electronic documents, ensuring easy retrieval of information.
  • Manage incoming communications, including emails and phone calls, using Outlook effectively.
  • Assist in the preparation of case files and documentation for court proceedings.
  • Coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes as required.
  • Ensure compliance with legal procedures and confidentiality protocols at all times.
