ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

· Good office experience, ideally in a professional services environment
· Experience in Litigation an advantage
· Good MS Office knowledge and experience
· Accurate audio typing
· Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
· Work effectively under pressure and remain calm and professional
· Good organisation and time management skills
· Excellent attention to detail
· Ability and desire to deliver exceptional Customer Service
· Enthusiasm and a positive “can do” attitude
· Professional and courteous

Responsibilities

· General administrative and secretarial support for fee earners in the litigation department
· Taking new client enquiries, and dealing with clients in person, by telephone and in writing
· Management of appointments and accurately recording client calls.
· Opening new files, assisting in the management of case files and archiving.
· Undertaking Conflict, ID, and Anti Money Laundering checks.
· Monthly billing; monitoring payments of department bills and disbursements.
· Liaising with team to manage enquiries and workflow to ensure comprehensive service to clients.
· Scanning documents and organising into bundles.
· Liaising with barristers and their clerks, experts, Courts and Tribunals
