  • Proficiency using Expert or similar accounting package and FileSite or similar document; management system ;

  • The ability to work well with others in a team environment;
  • Initiative and the ability to work unsupervised.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

We are currently seeking a legal secretary to work within our Tax/IPIT team in Melbourne. This role will work closely with an experienced and respected Partner and legal professionals on a range of Tax matters.

THE DUTIES:

Working within a close knit team, you will be responsible for:

  • Working on large documents, recording track changes and mark ups;
  • Opening, maintaining and closing files;
  • Preparing legal documents, correspondence, reports, emails, memos and letters;
  • Personal assistant tasks (diary and travel management);
  • Liaising with clients and staff on day to day matters;
  • Assisting with preparation of briefs, court books and court documents;
